Certifier MCP: certificates and badges from your AI app
Issue, manage and track digital certificates and badges from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor: list your groups and designs, check issued credentials and see how recipients interacted with them. Certifier's MCP server does the work, and through ContextGate you decide whether an AI app may email a credential to someone or only report on them.

Connect Certifier in four steps
- 1Click Connect Certifier free and sign in with your Certifier account.
- 2Issuing and sending a credential emails a real recipient. If your AI app should only look things up, switch off those tools after connecting and keep the listing tools.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app to list the credentials issued in one group and their interactions, then open Activity to see the calls.
What an AI app can do in Certifier
- List your credential groups and your certificate and badge designs.
- Look up issued credentials and the interaction events recorded for each one.
- Create, issue and send a credential in one step once the group and recipient details are ready.
- Send an already published credential by email.
Keep issuing in human hands
- Switch off the tools that issue and send credentials; your AI app can still report on what's been issued.
- Policies check every call, so recipients' names and emails can be hidden from your AI app.
- Activity records each credential your AI apps issued or sent, with the call that did it.
What you get with Certifier and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use CertifierClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Certifier through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Certifier tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
