Connect your CRM once from the app catalog in ContextGate, or add any remote MCP server that reaches it. A third-party integration provider holds the OAuth grants for catalog apps. Each connection shows its health and when it needs to be re-authenticated. Its tools are listed and synced, and you can switch off any you do not want used, such as tools that delete contacts or merge records.
Policies apply to every call in the workspace. PII redaction keeps contact emails and phone numbers out of what the AI app sees, and hands the real value back to the tool if the AI app uses the placeholder in a later call. Governance checks are plain-English rules that block, warn on or log a call. A warning lets the call through and puts the warning at the top of the result the AI app sees.
Every call shows up in Activity: which AI app made it, for which user, with what arguments, and what the policy outcome was.

Can the AI app update CRM records?
It can call the tools the connection provides that you leave switched on. Switch off the tools you do not want used, or add a governance check that blocks or warns on specific changes.
How do I keep customer data out of the AI app?
Use PII redaction. Emails, phone numbers and other personal data in tool results are replaced with placeholders before the AI app sees them. If the AI app sends a placeholder back in a later call, the tool gets the real value, so updates still land on the right record.
Can I combine my CRM with other apps?
Yes. Add Slack, Gmail or any other connection, and your AI apps reach all of them through the same ContextGate connection. The same workspace policies apply to every call.
