Checkout.com MCP: payments, refunds and docs in your AI app

Search the Checkout.com docs and API reference, investigate payments, and manage refunds and payment links from your editor with Checkout.com's MCP server. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor; a refund can be switched off or made to wait behind a policy warning, and every payment call lands in Activity.

  4. 4Ask your AI app to look into why a particular Checkout.com payment failed, then open Activity to see the call.

Payments work from Cursor or Claude

  • Search Checkout.com's docs and API reference while you write your integration.
  • Investigate a payment from your development environment.
  • Create or manage payment links.
  • Issue a refund, if you leave that tool on.

Keep money moves deliberate

  • Switch off the refund and payment-link tools; they're hidden from AI apps and refused if called.
  • A policy can warn or block before a refund goes through, and hide customers' personal data in payment details.
  • Activity records every Checkout.com call, so each refund has a request behind it you can find.
