DashThis MCP: client updates from your marketing dashboards

Turn the numbers in your DashThis marketing reporting dashboards into client-ready updates without copying figures by hand. ContextGate connects DashThis's MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor through your DashThis sign-in, and each dashboard your AI app reads shows up in Activity, so an agency can see what went into every client update.

How to add DashThis to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

  1. 1Click Connect DashThis free and sign in with your DashThis account.
  2. 2Your AI app gets every DashThis tool by default, listed after connecting. If it should only read dashboards, switch off any tool that changes them.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app to write a monthly update for one client from their DashThis dashboard, then check Activity for the calls.

Reporting work for agencies and marketing teams

  • Read a client's dashboard and get a plain-language summary of the month.
  • Turn dashboard numbers into a client-ready update you can edit and send.
  • Compare figures from the marketing tools a dashboard pulls together.

Client reporting under watch

  • Switch off any DashThis tool you don't want used; your AI app won't see it.
  • Policies check every call, so a client's personal data can be hidden before it reaches your AI app.
  • Activity keeps a record of which dashboards were read and when.

What you get with DashThis and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use DashThisClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach DashThis through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any DashThis tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.

DashThis tools

DashThis's own MCP server shows its tools once you sign in. When you connect it, they are listed and synced in your workspace.
