Edge Network MCP: sites, VMs and DNS from your AI app

Deploy and manage Edge Network cloud resources from your AI app: sites, VMs, storage, DNS, Shield and Assist. Edge Network lets an agent sign itself up, so ContextGate connects to the server with no sign-in. Switch off the tools that create or change infrastructure you care about, and every call still lands in Activity.

Connect Edge Network to Claude Code, Cursor or ChatGPT

  1. 1Click Connect Edge Network free. There's no sign-in, so its tools are ready at once.
  2. 2VMs, DNS and Shield settings shape what's running. Every tool is listed and on after you connect; switch off the ones that change them if you'd rather make those changes yourself.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app to list your Edge Network sites and their DNS records; each call it makes is listed in Activity.

What you get with Edge Network and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use Edge NetworkClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Edge Network through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Edge Network tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
