Paddle MCP: billing questions and changes from your AI app
Paddle's own MCP server queries and manages Paddle Billing: pricing, subscriptions, payments, revenue reports and webhooks. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, so you can pull a revenue report from a chat, while a change to a price or subscription has to pass your workspace policy first, or never reaches Paddle if you switch that tool off.

Connect Paddle Billing to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
- 1Click Connect Paddle free and sign in with your Paddle account.
- 2Every Paddle tool is on after you connect. Reporting tools can stay; the ones that change pricing, subscriptions or webhooks affect what customers are billed, so switch them off if a person should make those changes.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app for last month's revenue report from Paddle, then open Activity to see the call.
Billing tasks for Claude or ChatGPT
- Pull a revenue report from Paddle Billing without building a dashboard.
- Look up a customer's subscription and recent payments when they write to support.
- Check how your prices are set up before a pricing change.
- Review or update the webhooks Paddle sends to your app.
Billing changes need your say-so
- Switch off the tools that change prices or subscriptions; your AI app won't see them and calls are refused.
- A policy can warn or block before a subscription or webhook change goes through.
- Activity records each Paddle call, so a billing change made through an AI app can be traced.
What you get with Paddle and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use PaddleClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Paddle through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Paddle tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
