redirect.pizza MCP: redirects and domains from your AI app
Redirect.pizza handles URL redirects and domains, and from your AI app you can create or update a redirect, pause one source URL, recheck a domain's DNS, test where a URL lands or make a QR code. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor with an API key from your redirect.pizza account, and deleting a redirect can be switched off.

Add redirect.pizza to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
- 1Click Connect redirect.pizza free and paste an API key from your redirect.pizza account.
- 2Every redirect.pizza tool is on as soon as you connect. `Delete Redirect` removes a redirect and its domain association for good, so switch it off, and switch off `Update Redirect` and `Upsert Redirect` if live redirects should only change after review.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app to test where an old campaign URL redirects to, then open Activity to see each hop it checked.
Redirect tasks from a chat
- Create a redirect from one or more source URLs to a fixed destination, or update one that already exists.
- Pause or resume a whole redirect, or just one of its source URLs.
- Check a domain's DNS records, verification and SSL state, and ask for a DNS recheck.
- Test one redirect hop for a public URL and see the status, timing and next URL.
- Generate a QR code for a URL as a PNG, SVG or EPS file.
redirect.pizza's own MCP server, under Ways to connect, also covers email forwards and analytics.
Keep live redirects safe
- Switch off the delete and update tools, and your AI app can still list, create and test redirects.
- Add a policy that warns or blocks before a redirect is paused or changed.
- Activity records every redirect.pizza call, so you can see which call changed a destination and when.
What you get with redirect.pizza and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use redirect.pizzaClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach redirect.pizza through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any redirect.pizza tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
