Track Podcasts MCP: who sponsors which podcasts
Track Podcasts transcribes podcast audio to work out who sponsors which shows. Its MCP server gives your AI app five read-only tools for that data: who sponsors a show, a brand's ad history and sponsorship trends. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor and records every lookup, handy when the research feeds a media plan.

Add podcast sponsor data to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
- 1Click Connect Track Podcasts free. There's no sign-in, so its tools are ready at once.
- 2All five tools are read-only and on after you connect. Track Podcasts allows 10 calls a day without an account, so keep `get_show_sponsors` and `get_brand_podcasts` and switch off the ones your research skips, such as `get_busiest_categories`.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app which brands have sponsored a podcast you listen to, then open Activity to see the call.
Sponsorship research for marketers
- Find out who sponsors a show with `get_show_sponsors`, including whether ads were host-read and when each brand was first and last heard.
- See which podcasts a brand advertises on with `get_brand_podcasts`, to learn where competitors spend.
- Follow a brand's podcast advertising month by month, for up to 36 months, with `get_sponsor_activity_summary`.
- See which advertiser categories are buying the most podcast ads right now.
- Check how much of podcasting the data covers before you call a sponsor list complete.
Track the trackers
- Activity records each sponsor lookup by tool, so you can see what research was done.
- Switch off any Track Podcasts tool and your AI app can't see or call it.
