カーリル for AI MCP: find a book in Japan's libraries from your AI app
Find out which Japanese library holds the book you want, across more than 7,400 libraries, and browse the NDC classification for others on the same subject. カーリル for AI's MCP server brings Calil's library search into your AI app. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and every book search shows up in Activity.

Add Calil to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
- 1Click Connect カーリル for AI free and sign in with your Calil account.
- 2Each tool is on after sign-in, and the list appears then. Library searches and NDC browsing don't change anything; switch off any tool your AI app doesn't need so it chooses from fewer.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app which libraries in Kyoto hold a particular novel, then open Activity to see the Calil call.
