Logo.dev MCP: brand and logo lookups in your AI app
Logo.dev's MCP server lets your AI app find brands, pull their logos and brandmarks, and manage brand subscriptions and webhooks. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor with a Logo.dev sign-in, so a developer can drop a company's logo into a build from Cursor, and the subscription and webhook tools can be switched off if lookups are all you need.

- 1Click Connect Logo.dev free and sign in with your Logo.dev account.
- 2All Logo.dev tools are on to begin with. Keep brand search and logo lookups; switch off the subscription and webhook tools unless your AI app should be changing where Logo.dev sends updates.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app for the logo of a customer's domain as an SVG, then open Activity to see the lookup.
Brand assets from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
- Search for brands by name, filtered by country or industry.
- Fetch a domain's logo as a PNG or SVG while you build a page or a pitch.
- Look up brandmarks as well as logos.
- Manage brand subscriptions and webhooks from a chat.
What to leave on, what to switch off
- Switch off the subscription and webhook tools if your AI app only needs lookups; calls to them are refused.
- Policies check every call, including blocking an API key pasted into a request.
- Activity keeps a record of every Logo.dev lookup your team's AI apps make.
What you get with Logo.dev and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use Logo.devClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Logo.dev through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Logo.dev tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
