ME-QR MCP: create and manage QR codes from a chat

Make and manage QR codes on me-qr.com without opening the site: ME-QR's MCP server lets your AI app create codes and work with the ones already in your account. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor; you can switch off any tool that changes existing codes, and Activity records each code your AI app creates.

How to set up ME-QR with Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

  1. 1Click Connect ME-QR free and sign in with your ME-QR account.
  2. 2Every ME-QR tool is on after connecting, and the list appears then. Keep code creation, and switch off any tool that edits or deletes existing codes if they're already printed or shared.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app to create a QR code for your event sign-up page, then open Activity to see the ME-QR call.

QR code tasks for your AI app

  • Create a QR code for a link while you write the flyer or post it goes on.
  • Manage the QR codes already in your me-qr.com account.
  • Keep track of the codes you've made without opening the site.

Control over your codes

  • Switch off the tools that change existing codes, so your AI app can't alter a code that's already in print.
  • Activity records every code created or changed through ContextGate.

What you get with ME-QR and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use ME-QRClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach ME-QR through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any ME-QR tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.

ME-QR tools

ME-QR's own MCP server shows its tools once you sign in. When you connect it, they are listed and synced in your workspace.
