Peek MCP: build itineraries from 300k+ experiences
Peek's MCP server lets your AI app build travel itineraries from Peek's 300k+ experiences: search them, read the details and check dates, times and prices. ContextGate connects Peek to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and each search or availability check is written to Activity, so a trip planner can see where every suggestion in an itinerary came from.

Add Peek experiences to your AI app
- 1Click Connect Peek free. There's no sign-in, so its tools are ready at once.
- 2All six Peek tools are on once connected, and they only search and read. Keep `search_experiences`, `experience_details` and `experience_availability` for planning, and switch off `render_activity_tiles` if your AI app doesn't need embeddable widgets.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app for kayak tours near Lake Tahoe with space this Saturday, then open Activity to see the availability check.
Itinerary building with Peek
- Search Peek's 300k+ experiences with `search_experiences`, and narrow them by region and category tag.
- Read the details of a tour or activity with `experience_details` before adding it to a plan.
- Check dates, times and pricing with `experience_availability` so the itinerary only includes experiences with open slots.
- Render a set of activities as tiles in an embeddable widget.
Keep itinerary research visible
- Switch off any Peek tool; your AI apps no longer see it, and calls to it are refused.
- A policy can hide a traveler's personal details if they're pasted into a request.
- Activity records each search and availability check.
What you get with Peek and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use PeekClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Peek through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Peek tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
