Time.Graphics MCP: interactive timelines from a prompt
Describe a history, a project or a career and have your AI app build it as an interactive timeline in your Time.Graphics account, with events, periods and dates that reach back to BC. Share or export it when it's done. ContextGate connects Time.Graphics' own MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor and keeps a record of each edit.

Start building timelines with Time.Graphics
- 1Click Connect Time.Graphics free and sign in with your Time.Graphics account.
- 2Adding events and periods is safe to leave on. Sharing is different: switch off the sharing tools if timelines should only be shared by a person. Every tool is on when the list appears after connecting.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app to build a timeline of the Roman Republic from 509 BC to 27 BC with its main periods, then open Activity to see the calls.
Timelines you can build by asking
- Turn a list of dates into a timeline of events in your Time.Graphics account.
- Add periods that span years or centuries, including BC dates for ancient history.
- Share a finished timeline or export it for a report or lesson.
- Revise a timeline on your account by telling your AI app what changed.
Control over your timelines
- Switch off the sharing or export tools and your AI app can't use them; calls are refused.
- Activity keeps a record of each change your AI app makes to a timeline.
What you get with Time.Graphics and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use Time.GraphicsClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Time.Graphics through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Time.Graphics tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
