Yeelight IoT MCP: your Yeelight devices, from your AI app

Dim the living room lights or run an evening scene by asking your AI app. Yeelight IoT's MCP server discovers your Yeelight devices, reads their state, controls them and runs scenes. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, so you can switch off the control tools and let your AI app only report what your devices are doing.

Connect Yeelight to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

  1. 1Click Connect Yeelight IoT free and paste an API token from your Yeelight account.
  2. 2Every tool is on once your token is in, and the full list appears then. Discovery and state only look; control and scene tools change your devices, so switch those off if your AI app should report on your home without touching it.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app which Yeelight devices are on right now, then open Activity to see the call.
