Fathom MCP: meeting context for Claude and ChatGPT
Fathom records, transcribes and summarizes your meetings, and its own MCP server gives your AI app that meeting context so answers are grounded in what was actually said. ContextGate connects Fathom to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, signed in with your Fathom account either way, and a policy can hide names and personal details from transcripts before your AI app works with them.

- 4Ask your AI app what was agreed on yesterday's customer call that Fathom recorded, then open Activity to see the call.
Meeting context for your AI app
- Ask what was decided in a recorded meeting without rewatching it.
- Ground a follow-up email or project update in a meeting's transcript and summary.
- Bring details from past meetings into a Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor session.
Keep meeting records private
- Switch off any Fathom tool you don't want in use; it's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Transcripts can carry names, emails and phone numbers, and a policy can hide that personal data.
- Activity records each Fathom call, so you know which meetings an AI app read.
