Fireflies MCP: search your meeting transcripts from your AI app

Add Fireflies to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

1. 1Click Connect Fireflies free and sign in with your Fireflies account.
2. 2Your AI app can call any Fireflies tool once connected. Switch off deleting transcripts, and adding the Fireflies bot to a live meeting, unless you want an AI app doing either.
3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
4. 4Ask your AI app to summarize the objections raised in your last three Fireflies sales calls, then open Activity to see the calls.

Meeting follow-up with Fireflies

• Search transcripts and summaries for what was said about a topic, a customer or a deadline.
• Fetch soundbites from a meeting to quote in a follow-up.
• Look at meeting analytics for your team.
• Upload an audio file for transcription, or add the Fireflies bot to a meeting that's already running; both need a paid Fireflies plan.

Keep transcripts private

• Switch off the delete and live-meeting tools, and your AI app can still search and read transcripts.
• A policy can hide names, emails and phone numbers that come up in transcripts.
• Activity records every Fireflies call, so you can see which meetings an AI app read.
