Hackle MCP: experiments and feature flags from your AI app
Hackle's MCP server puts the Hackle Admin API within reach of your AI app: experiments, feature flags, remote config and messaging. A flag or config change can reach every user, so ContextGate lets you switch off the tools that make changes, have a policy warn before one goes through, and see each call in Activity.

Connect Hackle to Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT
- 1Click Connect Hackle free and sign in with your Hackle account.
- 2The tools appear after connecting, all on. Reading how an experiment is set up is low risk; changing a feature flag or a remote config value isn't. Switch off the tools that change them, or add a policy that warns first.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app which feature flags are set up in Hackle, and Activity will show the call it made.
Experimentation tasks for your AI app
- Review and set up experiments from your editor.
- Manage feature flags while you ship the code behind them.
- Change remote config values from a chat.
- Work with Hackle messaging through the same Admin API.
Change control for flags and config
- Switch off the tools that change flags or config, and your AI app can only look.
- Warn or block with a policy before a change goes through.
- Activity records every change made through ContextGate.
What you get with Hackle and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use HackleClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Hackle through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Hackle tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
Hackle tools
Hackle's own MCP server shows its tools once you sign in. When you connect it, they are listed and synced in your workspace.
