Produktly MCP: product tours, feedback and changelogs with AI
Produktly's MCP server reads your changelogs, feedback responses and roadmap items, and it can create and update product tours, checklists, surveys and changelog posts. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, so a product manager can review feedback in a chat, and you decide whether an AI app may change anything your users will see.

Connect your Produktly account to an AI app
- 1Click Connect Produktly free and sign in with your Produktly account.
- 2All tools are on after sign-in. Tours, checklists, surveys and changelog posts reach your users, so switch off the tools that create or update them if your AI app should only read feedback and the roadmap.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app to summarize this month's feedback responses and match them to roadmap items, then open Activity to see the calls.
Product work in your AI app
- Read feedback responses and pull out themes.
- Check roadmap items and changelogs before planning a release.
- Read your Produktly analytics alongside the feedback.
- Create or update a product tour, checklist, survey or changelog post.
Changes your users see, under control
- Switch off the create and update tools; your AI app can still read feedback and the roadmap.
- A policy can warn or block before a tour or changelog post is changed.
- Activity records every read and every change your AI app made in Produktly.
What you get with Produktly and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use ProduktlyClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Produktly through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Produktly tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
