Quackr MCP: virtual numbers and SMS codes for your AI agent

Quackr's MCP server gives your AI app virtual phone numbers: it can receive SMS verification messages and one-time passcodes, and manage the numbers on your account. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and because those codes are sensitive, policies check each call and Activity records every time one is fetched.

Give Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor a Quackr number

  1. 1Click Connect Quackr free and sign in with your Quackr account.
  2. 2Every Quackr tool is on after you connect, and you'll see the full list. If your AI app should only read incoming codes, switch off the tools that manage your numbers.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app to check your Quackr number for the latest verification code, then open Activity to see the call.

Ways to use Quackr from your AI app

  • Receive SMS verification messages on a virtual number while an agent signs up for or tests a service.
  • Read one-time passcodes without picking up your own phone.
  • Manage the virtual numbers on your Quackr account from a chat.

Guardrails for numbers and codes

  • Switch off the number-management tools and keep only the ones that read messages.
  • Policies check every call, so you can warn or block before your AI app changes a number.
  • Activity keeps a record of every Quackr call, including each time a code was fetched.

What you get with Quackr and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use QuackrClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Quackr through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Quackr tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
