Quicknode MCP: manage blockchain infrastructure from your AI app

Quicknode's MCP server lets your agents manage your Quicknode blockchain infrastructure across more than 80 chains, instead of you calling the Quicknode API by hand. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, so infrastructure changes only go through the tools you've kept on, and each one is logged in Activity.

Point Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor at your Quicknode account

  1. 1Click Connect Quicknode free and sign in with your Quicknode account.
  2. 2The full list of Quicknode tools appears after you connect, all on. Switch off any tool that creates, changes or removes infrastructure if you'd like your AI app to report rather than act.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app for an overview of your Quicknode infrastructure and the chains it runs on, then open Activity to see the call.

Blockchain infrastructure tasks for your AI app

  • Manage your Quicknode infrastructure on any of 80+ chains from a chat in Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Let an agent in Claude Code or Cursor look after infrastructure while you build.
  • Ask about your setup across chains in one place instead of checking each one.

Keep infrastructure changes deliberate

  • Switch off the Quicknode tools that change infrastructure; they disappear from your AI app and calls to them are refused.
  • Set a policy to warn or block before a change goes through.
  • Activity records every Quicknode call, so you can see what an agent did and when.

What you get with Quicknode and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use QuicknodeClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Quicknode through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Quicknode tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.

Quicknode tools

Quicknode's own MCP server shows its tools once you sign in. When you connect it, they are listed and synced in your workspace.
