Remote. It MCP: devices, connections and scripts from your AI app

Remote. It's hosted MCP server lets your AI app take inventory of your devices, open connections to them, manage services and run scripts. Remote. It reaches machines behind firewalls and CGNAT without open ports, so care is warranted: ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and you can switch off script tools an AI app shouldn't use.

Connect Remote. It devices to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

  1. 1Click Connect Remote. It free and sign in with your Remote. It account.
  2. 2All tools are on after you connect. Inventory lookups only read, while running scripts and opening connections act on real devices, so switch those tools off unless your AI app needs them.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app for an inventory of your Remote. It devices, then open Activity to see the call.

Device work you can do from Claude or ChatGPT

  • Take an inventory of the devices on your Remote. It account.
  • Open a connection to a device from a chat, with no VPN or open ports.
  • Manage the services on a device.
  • Run a script on a device, including equipment out in the field.

Keep remote access deliberate

  • Switch off the script and connection tools and keep the inventory; switched-off tools are hidden and refused.
  • Set a policy to warn or block before a script runs.
  • Activity records every Remote. It call, so you can see which devices an AI app touched.

What you get with Remote. It and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use Remote.ItClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Remote. It through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Remote. It tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.

Remote.It tools

Remote. It's own MCP server shows its tools once you sign in. When you connect it, they are listed and synced in your workspace.
