AddCal MCP: publish events and check RSVPs from your AI app
Create events, check RSVPs and manage the public calendars people subscribe to by asking your AI app. AddCal's own MCP server works inside your AddCal account, feeds and add-to-calendar links included. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, so publishing an event to your subscribers can raise a warning first.

Get AddCal working in your AI app
- 1Click Connect AddCal free and sign in with your AddCal account.
- 2After you connect, the full tool list appears and every tool is on. Events you publish reach everyone subscribed to the calendar, so consider switching off the tools that create or change events and keeping the RSVP checks.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app how many people have RSVPed to your next AddCal event, then open Activity to see the call.
Calendar publishing from a chat
- Create an event on a public AddCal calendar that others subscribe to.
- Check who has RSVPed to an event.
- Get the feed and add-to-calendar links to share an event.
- Manage the calendars in your own AddCal account.
Before an event goes out to subscribers
- Switch off event creation if your AI app should only read RSVPs; the tool is hidden and refused if called.
- A policy can mask attendee names and emails in RSVP results before they reach your AI app.
- Activity keeps a record of every AddCal call, including each event created through ContextGate.
