Humanlineage MCP: search the family tree of humanity

Connect Human Lineage to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

1. 1Click Connect Humanlineage free. There's no sign-in, so its tools are ready at once.
2. 2All six tools read the public graph. If text answers are enough, switch off `get_family_image`; otherwise keep everything on.
3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
4. 4Ask your AI app to find a person and show their family tree, then open Activity to see the `search_person` and `get_family_image` calls.

Family history questions

• Find a person by name with `search_person`, then open their full record with `get_person`.
• List someone's parents, children and spouses with `get_relatives`.
• Show a visual family-tree card of a person's immediate family with `get_family_image`.
• Look up a place, its hierarchy and how many recorded people are linked to it using `search_place` and `get_place`.

Genealogy searches on record

• Switch off any of the six tools; it's hidden from your AI app and refused if called.
• Activity keeps a record of every person and place search.
