Jitsu MCP: run your data pipeline from Claude or Cursor

Jitsu's MCP server lets an AI agent manage your data pipeline: create destinations, wire streams to them, inspect Live Events and edit Functions. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, so you can keep Live Events inspection available while switching off the tools that change where production data goes.

Connect Jitsu to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

  1. 1Click Connect Jitsu free and sign in with your Jitsu account.
  2. 2Every tool is on after you connect; the full list appears then. Creating destinations, rewiring streams and editing Functions all change where your data goes, so switch off the ones your AI app shouldn't touch and keep Live Events inspection.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app to show recent Live Events for one of your Jitsu streams, then open Activity to see the call.

Pipeline tasks for your AI agent

  • Create a new destination and connect a stream to it.
  • Inspect Live Events to check that data is arriving as expected.
  • Edit a Jitsu Function from Cursor while you work on the code around it.
  • Review the connections between your streams and destinations.

Protect the pipeline

  • Switch off the tools that create destinations or edit Functions to keep your AI app to inspection.
  • Policies check each call, so secrets such as destination credentials can be blocked before they're sent.
  • Activity records every call, so a changed stream or Function can be traced back to the chat that changed it.

What you get with Jitsu and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use JitsuClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Jitsu through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Jitsu tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
