TestMu AI MCP: run and triage tests without leaving your IDE
TestMu AI, formerly LambdaTest, runs your tests on real browsers and devices, and its MCP server lets you run, debug and triage them by asking in plain language. It covers HyperExecute, Automation, SmartUI, Accessibility and Test Manager. ContextGate connects it to Claude Code, Cursor, Claude and ChatGPT and records every test run your AI app asks for.

Wire TestMu AI into your coding agent
- 1Click Connect TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) free and sign in with your TestMu AI account.
- 2Decide who starts test runs. All tools are on after you connect; if runs should only start from your CI, switch off the ones that start them and keep triage and debugging.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app to triage the failures from your latest Automation run and group them by cause, then open Activity to see the calls.
Testing work for your AI app
- Run tests on real browsers and devices from a prompt in Cursor or Claude Code.
- Triage a failing run and sort out what broke before you open the dashboard.
- Check SmartUI visual results and Accessibility findings in the same conversation.
- Work through Test Manager cases with plain-language requests.
- Debug a HyperExecute run while the code is still open in your editor.
Keep test runs deliberate
- Switch off any TestMu AI tool and your AI app can't see or call it.
- A policy can block credentials or API keys from going out with a test request.
- Activity records every call, so a test run started from an AI app is easy to trace.
What you get with TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest)Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
