PollUnit MCP: create and analyze polls from your AI app

Set up a scheduling poll for next week's team meeting just by asking: PollUnit's MCP server creates, updates and analyzes polls, scheduling polls, surveys and contests. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor with your PollUnit sign-in, and you can stop an AI app from editing a poll people are already voting in.

  1. 1Click Connect PollUnit free and sign in with your PollUnit account.
  2. 2All PollUnit tools are on once connected. If people are already voting, switch off the update tools so a running poll isn't changed by an AI app.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app to sum up the results of your latest PollUnit survey, then open Activity to see the call.

  • Set up a survey or a contest.
  • Update a poll's options.
  • Analyze results and get a summary.

  • A policy can hide respondents' personal details from the chat.
  • Activity records every poll your AI app created, changed or analyzed.

What you get with PollUnit and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use PollUnitClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach PollUnit through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any PollUnit tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
