Process Street MCP: workflows and runs from your AI app
Process Street's MCP server connects your AI app to your workflows, workflow runs, tasks, users and data sets, so it can start a run from a workflow, find records in a data set and mark a run complete. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor with a Process Street sign-in, and completing a run can be switched off so checklists still get a person's sign-off.

Connect Process Street to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
- 1Click Connect Process Street free and sign in with your Process Street account.
- 2All Process Street tools start out on. Keep listing workflows and starting runs; switch off completing runs if a checklist should only be closed by the person who did the work.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app to start a run of your onboarding workflow in Process Street, then open Activity to see the call.
Run your processes from Claude or ChatGPT
- List the workflows in your Process Street organization.
- Start a workflow run from a workflow template.
- Search a data set for records by its form fields.
- Mark a run complete, or restore a run that was deleted.
- Look at tasks and users across your workflow runs.
Keep sign-offs with people
- Switch off completing runs; your AI app can still start them, and a call to complete one is refused.
- Policies check every call, so personal data in data set records can be hidden.
- Activity keeps a record of every Process Street call, so you can see which runs an AI app started or closed.

- Your AI apps can use Process StreetClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Process Street through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Process Street tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
