SVGator MCP: animated SVG projects from your AI app
Browse your SVGator projects, start a new animated SVG, edit one and export it, all by asking Claude or ChatGPT. SVGator's MCP server works through your SVGator account. ContextGate connects it to your AI apps, so a developer can export an animation straight into a Cursor project, and the tools that edit your designers' work can be switched off.

Bring SVGator into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
- 1Click Connect SVGator free and sign in with your SVGator account.
- 2After you sign in, every SVGator tool is on. Browsing and exporting leave projects as they are; create and edit tools change them, so switch those off if your designers should own the animations.
- 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
- 4Ask your AI app to list your SVGator projects and export the loading spinner, then open Activity to see the calls.

Keep the animations your designers made

What you get with SVGator and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use SVGatorClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach SVGator through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any SVGator tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
SVGator tools
SVGator's own MCP server shows its tools once you sign in. When you connect it, they are listed and synced in your workspace.
