Transloadit MCP: file processing Assemblies from your AI app

Set up Transloadit for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

1. 1Click Connect Transloadit free and sign in with your Transloadit account.
2. 2Every tool is on after you connect. Status checks and listings are safe; creating, replaying or cancelling an Assembly does real processing work, and replaying a notification calls your notify URL again, so switch off what an AI app shouldn't do.
3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
4. 4Ask Cursor to lint your Assembly Instructions and suggest Robots for resizing images, then open Activity to see the calls.

• Cancel AssemblyCancel a running Assembly and any upload still in progress. Fails if the Assembly reaches another terminal state before cancellation is confirmed.
• Create AssemblyStart a Transloadit file-processing Assembly from validated inline Steps or an existing Template, optionally uploading up to 10 local files with a 20 MiB aggregate direct-upload limit. Use a /http/imp
• Get Assembly StatusRetrieve the latest state, uploads, warnings, and results for one Assembly. This performs one status fetch and does not poll. Transloadit limits status requests to 3 per second for the same Assembly I
• List AssembliesReturn one page of Assemblies in descending creation order, optionally filtered by state, date range, or keywords.
• Replay AssemblyRetry a crashed Assembly while its original input files remain recoverable, optionally reparsing its Template.
• Replay Assembly NotificationResend a completed Assembly's result notification to the notify_url configured on that Assembly.
