Capacities MCP: your space, objects and daily notes in an AI app

Search a Capacities space from your AI app and work with the objects and daily notes in it, through Capacities' own MCP server. ContextGate registers itself with Capacities when you sign in and puts the connection under your workspace policies, so personal data in a note can be hidden and each call to your space is recorded.

Link a Capacities space to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

  1. 1Click Connect Capacities free and sign in with your Capacities account.
  2. 2Once you're connected, the full tool list appears and every tool is on. Decide whether your AI app should only search and read, or also add to daily notes and objects, and switch off whatever goes beyond that.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app what you wrote in last Monday's Capacities daily note, then open Activity to see the call.

Your Capacities space, inside the chat

  • Search your Capacities space for a topic and have your AI app summarize what it finds.
  • Pull up an object from your space while you work on something related to it.
  • Go back through your daily notes to find when you last wrote about something.

Notes stay under your rules

  • Switch off any Capacities tool you don't want AI apps to use; it's hidden and refused if called.
  • Policies check every call, so personal data in a note can be hidden before it reaches an AI app.
  • Activity lists each call your AI apps make to your Capacities space.

What you get with Capacities and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use CapacitiesClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Capacities through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.

  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
