Creator MCP: build and export animations from your AI app

Creator is a hosted motion engine built for agents: your AI app builds the layers and keyframes of an animation, then exports it as MP4, WebM or Lottie. ContextGate connects Creator, from LottieFiles, to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and keeps a record of each build and export your AI app asks for.

Set up Creator in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

  1. 1Click Connect Creator free and sign in to Creator.
  2. 2Once connected, Creator's tools show up with all of them on. Keep the ones that build layers and keyframes, and switch off the export tools if finished files shouldn't come out of a chat.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app for a three-second logo reveal exported as Lottie, then look in Activity for the calls Creator received.

Motion work you can describe in plain words

  • Have your AI app build an animation layer by layer, with the keyframes set for you.
  • Export the result as an MP4 or WebM video for social posts or a web page.
  • Export as Lottie when the animation is going into a website or app.

Keep an eye on Creator

  • Switch off any Creator tool; it disappears from your AI apps and is refused if called.
  • Activity records every build and export request made through ContextGate.

What you get with Creator and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use CreatorClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Creator through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Creator tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.

Creator tools

Creator's own MCP server shows its tools once you sign in. When you connect it, they are listed and synced in your workspace.
