YouCam MCP: skin analysis and virtual try-on in your AI app

How to add YouCam to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

1. 1Click Connect YouCam free. There's no sign-in, so its tools are ready at once.
2. 2Fifty tools is a long list for one AI app. Keep the ones your product uses, such as `AI-Hair-Color-Virtual-Try-On` or `AI-Fitzpatrick-Skin-Type-Analysis`, and switch off the body-reshaping and other simulations you have no use for.
3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
4. 4Give your AI app a selfie and ask how it would look with auburn hair, then open Activity to see the `AI-Hair-Color-Virtual-Try-On` call.

YouCam's server has 50 tools; these are a few. The rest appear in ContextGate as soon as you add the connection.

Photos of faces are personal data

• Switch off the tools your product doesn't use, and your AI app can't send a photo to them.
• Set a policy to warn before a photo goes out for analysis.
• Activity records each call, so you can see which YouCam tools ran and when.
