Playbook MCP: find and organize creative files with AI
Playbook is a media backend for creative files, and its MCP server lets an AI assistant search, organize, tag, upload and share files and folders. ContextGate connects it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor through a browser sign-in. Sharing sends work to other people, so that tool can be switched off while search and tagging stay available.

- Tag files and organize them into folders.
- Upload new creative files from a chat or coding session.
- Share a file or folder with someone.
Your creative files, kept in hand

- Activity records every search, upload and share.
What you get with Playbook and ContextGate
- Your AI apps can use PlaybookClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Playbook through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
- You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Playbook tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
- Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.
ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
