Global Database MCP: company, ownership and KYB data on request

KYB checks and prospecting both start with good company data. Global Database's MCP server brings verified company profiles, financials, ownership, registry records and business contacts into your AI app. ContextGate brings it to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, lets you switch off the contact tools, and keeps each lookup in Activity for when someone asks why a company was checked.

  1. 1Click Connect Global Database free and sign in with your Global Database account.
  2. 2The tools appear after connecting, every one on. If your team uses Global Database for KYB but not prospecting, switch off the tools that return business contacts.
  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app who owns a company you're onboarding, then open Activity to see the lookup.

Company checks from your AI app

  • Pull a verified company profile and its financials before a meeting.
  • Trace ownership and check registry records during KYB.
  • Find business contacts for prospecting.

Lookups you can account for

  • Switch off the contact tools and keep the company data; your AI app won't see what's off.
  • A policy can hide personal data, such as a contact's email address, before results reach the chat.
  • Activity keeps every Global Database lookup on record.

What you get with Global Database and ContextGate

  • Your AI apps can use Global DatabaseClaude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other AI apps reach Global Database through the one ContextGate connection you add to them.
  • You choose which tools they can useSwitch off any Global Database tool you don't want used. It's hidden from your AI apps and refused if called.
  • Every call is checked and recordedYour policies check each call (for example, personal data is hidden and secrets are blocked), and Activity keeps a record of it.

ContextGate sees only the tool calls that go through it, not your AI app's built-in tools or your chats.
