OpenWeatherMap MCP: weather data for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor

Get current conditions, forecasts and other OpenWeather data in your AI app without calling the OpenWeatherMap API yourself. ContextGate offers two ways: its app connector for weather queries, and OpenWeather's own MCP server, which lists data feeds, checks your balance and fetches data. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor reach either through one connection, with every call recorded.

  3. 3Add ContextGate to your AI app as a connector or MCP server. The steps for each app are on the Works with page.
  4. 4Ask your AI app for tomorrow's forecast in Oslo, then open Activity to see the weather query.
